I'm claromes (Clarissa Mendes), a freelance developer dedicated to free/libre and open-source software.

My focus is on open-source research and web development. I'm also interested in the decentralized web, federation, and self-hosting.

I started programming in Adobe After Effects, using expressions and ExtendScript, and I currently work with Python, JavaScript and TypeScript. Occasionally, I take on projects involving PHP and Ruby. I also explore creative coding with py5.

I contribute to and maintain open-source projects. I'm currently working with Fiocruz, Gênero e Número, Novelo Data, and I run Célere, a company specializing in news website optimization.
